Homemade Ginger Ale

Instructions
ginger ale
to a 16 oz glass add the ginger concentrate and honey syrup.
add ice. slowly fill glass with sparkling water, allowing bubbles to dissolve before filling completely.
add a splash of lemon. adjust to taste.
additions: lemon slice, lime. blueberries. strawberries.
ginger concentrate
add water and ginger root to a pan over medium heat. simmer for 20-30 minutes, until water has reduced by about half.
this leaves a concentrate with a strong ginger flavor. let cool, then strain though a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
store in fridge. Use in Homemade Ginger Ale recipe.
honey syrup
heat water. add honey. stir until honey is dissolved.
allow to cool. store in fridge.
use in drinks such as homemade ginger ale or coffee.
