A Series

I am so grateful for the life we get to give our kids.

She sat there, in the crowd, overwhelmed with emot

She sat there, in the crowd, overwhelmed with emotions and feelings and triggers. One by one, as those triggers surfaced, she closed her eyes, named the pain, and felt that emotion drop from her heart to her stomach and release outward from her body. Over and over she continued this process, with tears streaming down her cheeks.

And, as messy as it may seem, she was honoring God, glorifying Him. She was trusting Him with her pain and brokenness, slowly and painfully releasing it all to Him.

Sometimes healing looks like this.

•Teaching kids to be diligent workers.
•Strengthening muscles.
•Feeding our future steaks.

This is the making of a strong man. His older siblings have felt the satisfaction of a job well done, and I am proud to say they now give that work ethic to their jobs, and their employers. (At least, this is what I assume since we hear no complaints from employers!) I am grateful for the opportunity to pass on these lessons and experiences to our children.

Over here taking it easy while recovering from head colds and an action packed quick trip to see family. You can bet I'm counting these homeschool hours of reading and art!
